Sweet Pea's Story

Sweet Pea is a happy girl who loves to be close to her humans! She snuggles up to you on the couch, and will sleep under the covers at night which is just the cutest thing to wake up to in the morning! Sweet Pea loves to go for walks and loves to play with toys. She gets along with all dogs, but is a little too over-interested in the foster’s cat, so maybe a home without a cat would be best. She’s potty trained and dog-door trained. Sweet Pea is a joy to have around. <br/><br/>Mazie’s Mission rescued this sweet girl from the shelter and found she had an inguinal hernia that needed surgery. She did wonderful for the surgery and has recovered very well! She even got her teeth cleaned while she was under anesthesia! She has been spayed, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated. Mazie's Mission's Adoption Policy

Opting to adopt is the best way to add a new furry family member. Mazie's Mission has animals available for adoption, and animals in foster homes receiving medical care so that they can begin their adoption journey, too. Our adoption requirements are as follows: -Adopters must be at least 21 years of age -All existing pets in the home must be up-to-date on vaccines and spayed/neutered -Existing dogs must be on heartworm prevention -We do not do out of state adoptions In addition to a brief veterinary reference, we also do a home visit to make sure the new pet gets along with all his or her new family members!
