Sweet Pea's Story

You have never met a sweeter girl than Sweet Pea. We promise you this.

Sweet Pea was dumped at a high kill shelter in San Antonio, like so many dogs are. Their over-population is an epidemic and it is not. getting any better. We are so thankful that we were able to get this girl out of there. She is something special. You know it as soon as you meet her.

Sweet Pea is around.4 years old. She is fun-loving, playful and cuddly. At just around 35 Lbs, she is the perfect size. We would like her to gain a few pounds so we are feeding her a little extra for now (she doesn't mind, haha!).

This sweetheart is wonderful with other dogs and fits right into a pack. She grabs a spot on the couch or lies down in the sunshine to take in all the scents of a sunny day. She also has shown us that she likes to go for a jog in the neighborhood! Her foster mom has taken her out for a nice little run and Sweet Pea LOVES it! She also loves stuffed toys and, of course, cuddles.

Sweet Pea is still in Texas but we want to transport her out of there! As soon as she receives a great application, we can transport her to another state!

To apply for Sweet Pea, visit homerunhounds.org
