Sweet Mary's Story

Sweet Mary is aptly named – we haven’t come across a sweeter cocker spaniel! She’s a tiny black cocker spaniel, looks like a puppy but is a young adult, and just has the best expressive face! She was rescued from a commercial breeding facility where she was a “farm dog” and is ever so grateful to be in a warm kennel with other doggie friends and volunteers who fight over her regarding who gets to take her out next or pet her. She’s just a gentle soul, she will just come over and nicely sit at your feet and look up, hoping for some petting – which with that sweet innocent face she normally gets! Sweet Mary is tolerant of all the other dogs in our front office area (where she is residing right now) but she doesn’t really play with them much – we think she just wants to be a lap dog and snuggle with her owners as much as possible. Clearly a dog this gentle and sweet won’t last long here – so if you are interested in Sweet Mary fill out an application now.

To adopt any of our animals, please fill out an adoption application. Click here to apply.

No out-of-state applicants will be considered.
