At about 1 year old and 95 pounds, he is still very much a young Lab—curious, energetic, playful, and always ready to be part of the action.<br/><br/>Kody started life in a New York City high-rise, so discovering the joys of a backyard has been quite an adventure! He absolutely loves having room to run, explore, play, and just be a dog. When playtime is over, this big boy is more than happy to settle in for some quality snuggle time with his people.<br/><br/>Kody is very food motivated, smart, and eager to learn. He is still working on some of his puppy manners and will benefit from continued training, structure, exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. Like many young Labs, he’s curious about everything and occasionally needs reminding that not every interesting object is a toy!<br/><br/>Speaking of toys, Kody loves sticks, tug-of-war, and keep-away. Fetch? Well...he hasn’t quite figured out why he should bring the ball back when it’s much more fun to make you chase him!<br/><br/>Kody has been a wonderful houseguest and is good with children, other dogs, and cats. He could be happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention or sharing his home with a canine companion.<br/><br/>Most of all, Kody loves his people. He is affectionate, snuggly, social, and wants to be included in family life.
