Suzi Q (Deaf)

Suzi Q is a sweet, white 6-month-old Chihuahua with a gentle and loving personality. She’s wonderful with kids and enjoys being around people of all ages. Suzi Q’s favorite things are cuddling up close and taking long, cozy naps, especially when she’s near someone she trusts. With other dogs she is playful and has been around other dogs. She actually prefers to have dogs around her as she looks to them for direction since she is Deaf. She definitely does not let that interfere with the joy that she has, but because she can't hear herself she does have a very loud voice and it doesn't quite sound like a bark. It is certainly unique.<br/><br/>We have started basic training and socialization, but since she is a puppy, further support is needed to hone her skills. All her siblings are incredibly smart so we don't expect any issues training in the future and we know that in the right home she will make a wonderful loving companion.<br/><br/>With her small size and big heart, she’s an affectionate little companion who brings warmth and fun wherever she goes.<br/><br/>Suzi Q is vaccinated, microchipped, fully vaccinated and scheduled to be altered in the new year at our vet. Her adoption fee is $550 and includes all of the above plus a wonderful go home basket with any supplies needed.
