Sutton's Story

UPDATED 3/27/2026 Hi! My name is Sutton! I'm a male beagle/fox terrier mix puppy! The vet thinks I was born on 12/18/2025. On March 26, 2026, I weighed about 11 lbs. It's hard to say how big I'll get at this point in my young life. I love to sit on my people's laps! I'm so sweet & cuddly & getting along great with the older dog in my foster home! I'm doing fantastic with housetraining & crate training! I haven't had any accidents in the crate! Right now, I'm crated for no more than 3 hours at a time - then I go outside. Every time I'm outside, I go potty! I'll be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of my adoption. My forever home will have me neutered at the age recommended by their vet (probably 6 months). Anyways, I'm looking for my forever home! Are you it?? I will not be attending showings. PA Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
