Susie's Story

Susie

Susan is a sweet, compact little lady. She was found with her three puppies on a loading dock in San Antonio. All of her puppies were saved while she was left at the shelter, scheduled to be euthanized. At the last minute she was saved and taken into a foster home.
When she’s not sun tanning out back she’s cuddled up with her person on the sofa or playing with her dog foster brother. Susan is crate trained, potty trained and very food motivated. She’s most comfortable in her home where she knows she’s safe. While she loves leashed walks, she can be weary of new dogs. Her dog foster brothers are her buddies but slow intros with new dogs are a must. Susan is a happy, goofy girl still waiting for her forever home where she can play around then curl up next to her person for a snooze.

Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
