This 7-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs just about 8 pounds and carries a quiet sweetness that truly blossoms once she feels safe.<br/><br/>After spending her entire life being used for breeding, Susie is just beginning to learn what it means to be loved. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her soft, affectionate side shine through. Once she trusts you, she enjoys being held and loved on—you can tell it’s something she’s always wanted, even if she’s still figuring out how to fully accept it.<br/><br/>Susie is a calm, easygoing companion who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and does well with cats too. She’s not a high-energy pup—she’s much more of a “relax by your side” kind of girl.
