Surfer Cooler is a shy but incredibly sweet dog who's learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—especially when there are kind people, soft beds, and yummy treats involved. He’s currently healing from a burn on his back, but don’t worry—it’s getting better every day! All he needs is a little cream applied twice a day and he’s a total champ about it.<br/><br/>One of our volunteers had this to share about this Surfer Cooler: This guy continues to impress! He's been super patient while his burns heal. He's learned "sit" and is learning manners. He is so goofy with a rope toy and it's pure joy to watch him run around the yard with it. He has amazing athleticism. SC reminds me of the cool, nice kid on campus. He'd probably be the star quarterback who also makes the honor role every year.<br/><br/>Surfer Cooler would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.
