Sunshine's Story

Meet Sunshine! This sweet, silly Labrador blend is 5 years old and weighs 45 lbs. This playful pup will brighten your day with kisses, belly rubs, and love forever. Sunshine is a sweet, loving, playful, and energetic pooch. She gives endless kisses and adores belly rubs.

Favorite Things: Sunshine loves playing, romping around in the yard, and snuggling with her humans.

Training & Manners: Silly Sunshine has good basic manners and is house trained in her foster home. She enjoys napping in her designated cozy area and rides well in the car. She is still working on her leash-walking skills.

Health & Care: She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and heartworm negative. This big-hearted gal can't bend her "wrist" on one leg after surgery to correct an old injury. She wears a brace sometimes to help keep it stable if she's going to romp around. Other than that, she just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Sunshine does not require much grooming apart from the occasional bath and nail trim when needed.

Other Animals: Sunshine prefers to be the queen of her castle. Sunshine does not like to share her toys. She will need to be the only dog, no cats either!

Children: Sunshine has not been observed around children yet, but she will probably need a home without small children as she is a very active gal who could knock them over. Older kids (10+) are okay.

Ideal Home: A single-family home with a securely fenced yard and an active family would be perfect for Miss Sunshine! As long as she gets the exercise and attention she needs, she is sure to thrive!

Overall: Sunshine will be a wonderful companion for someone who is active and ready for lots of adventures and cuddles.

Could you use some Sunshine on a cloudy day? Could Sunshine be your girl? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org, where you will find the application to adopt. You'll be put in contact with her foster family for more information if it's a potential match. Her adoption donation is $275.
