Sunshine’s a 1.5yo 15lb Terrier mix. He’s dog, cat and kid 8+ friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. He’d be good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going on harness leashed walks. He loves to suckle on a stuffed animal or blanket. He needs some time to warm up with new people, but once he does warm up, he’s a sweet cuddle bug who will roll over for belly rubs. He’s young so can get burst of energy but also low key and chills.<br/><br/>Sunshine’s foster requires a home that gives him space and time to get to know them and the new environment, let him come to them at his own pace and make sure he has tons of stuffed toys to suckle on along with another playful dog 20lbs or larger. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.<br/><br/>Sunshine as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.<br/><br/>Sunshine is neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped.
