Sunshine's Story

Back in January a Good Samaritan brought us a skinny little pittie with some wounds who had been found as a stray. She was microchipped and transferred over to @Kankakeecountyanimalcontrol to wait for her owner to step forward.
Little Sunshine gained some weight while over at animal control, and unfortunately went unclaimed by her owner so she headed back over to us to search for a loving family. She is estimated to be about 3 years old, is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed soon.
Despite everything, Sunshine is happy, loving and the ultimate cuddle bug. She did well meeting dogs her size and has loved every single person who has given her attention. Probably from her lack of food not long ago, Sunshine can be a little grabby with treats and takes them better with an open palm.
