Sunny's Story

Sunny was abandoned on a busy road near our rescue kennel. Volunteers scrambled to get her out of harm’s way and brought her to safety. This sweet girl has a heart full of joy and a playful spirit that makes her a wonderful companion. Sunny is eager to make new friends and is always up for an adventure! As a typical husky, she thrives on exercise and mental stimulation, so she’s looking for an active family who can keep her engaged and happy. She can be shy around new people and pushy dogs but she loves being around big friendly male dogs who she can lean on for confidence. She will need proper introductions to new people with a little walk and some treats but calm dogs are her love language.
