Sunny's Story

Sunny is a smaller 39 lb female shepherd mix whose name fits her perfectly. She's bright, energetic, and always ready to bring a little light into your day. This highenergy girl wakes up excited for whatever adventure comes next. Long walks, playtime, exploring new places - Sunny is happiest when she's on the move and using that sharp shepherd mind. This girl is not the dog for folks who are looking for leisurely occasional strolls. She is more
of a hiker, runner and thinker!
She's smart, eager, and will thrive with structure and activity. Sunny loves being part of the action and with a young adopter who enjoys an active lifestyle and a dog who can keep up, she'll blossom into the loyal, loving companion she is meant to be.
Sunny is good with other dogs and loves those who are playful like her but would like to offer a pass on cats...not her thing.
If you're looking for a fun, athletic, affectionate companion who brings joy wherever she goes, Sunny is ready to shine in her forever home.
**Hiking feedback: "After spending time on the trail with sweet Sunny, she had shown that she'd be a wonderful addition to any family, particularly one that can match her energetic spirit, and commit to her training. She's an intelligent dog who would thrive with plenty of mental and physical engagement.

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
