SUNDANCE's Story
Handsome Sundance or Sunny, as he likes to be called, arrived as a stray. He had skin issues from fleas, which have been taken care of. His fur is coming back in. He is approx. 2 to 3 years of age and weighs approx. 65lbs. He can sit and we are working on his leash-walking manners. He is a puller. We have not introduced him to the cats as of yet. He is a barky with some of the other dogs. If they are barky with him he barks right back at them. He is not aggressive about it though.

He is slowly warming up to the people that handle him. Not that he is fearful, but he is somewhat aloof. We believe he did not get much human contact where ever he came from. Left to do his own thing. He seems to have a "take it or leave it" attitude. He enjoys and is OK with being petted but it is not something he seeks out or expects. He is a calm boy. Quiet for the most part. If you want a lap dog this is not the dog for you. If you want some one to hang out with that doesn't ask for much Sunny is your boy, he is just not a lovey-dovey guy. We believe there is a big heart in there that had been broken at one time and he is just guarding it from that happening again. If you are not expecting much, patient and able to bide your time I think he will be a good companion.

Please visit our website www.perrycountyanimalrescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Once processed, we will be in touch for a meet and greet.

PA Lisc, #5506
