Summit

Summit is a 4-month-old mix breed of a stoic handsome awesome mutt! To be honest we don’t know what he is. He is predicted to be around 50lbs. Summit would love to be the baby of the family. He is more reserved than his sister’s but don’t let that fool you he is still 100% puppy. Summit was abandoned with his siblings at 8 weeks old in Mexico and due to the extreme heat, he was transported up to Montana rescue by a wonderful volunteer. What we can tell you about Summit is he is a cuddler, sweet boy who is desperate to be someone’s best friend. He tends to be more of a calm soul, but does have a playful adventurous side that would benefit from more fun and exposure. Summit is learning the routine of the home. Summit is learning to be kenneled trained and to potty outside, so routine is important for this guy. His adopter must know he is still a baby and training, dedication, and patience are a must. He needs continued socialization to ensure a well-rounded pup. He currently lives with two little kiddos in rescue and has done great, but older children would be best as he has a tendency to knock down the littles out of excitement. He has also been introduced to cats and livestock. Summit continues to interact with other dogs in rescue. Summit is ready to melt into his person and to be your next adventure buddy. Summit is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. Homeownership and a fenced yard are preferred. This rescue will not adopt out to individuals with unaltered domestic pets.
