Meet Summer, an adorable 3 year-old cattle dog/lab mix pup weighing 32 pounds. Summer is the ideal ranch/farm dog or outdoor companion for someone who gardens throughout the day.This girl loves to work and train -- she would make a great agility/working dog. She loves to be outdoors and has energy to be at your assistance all day :). She's a bundle of fun and gets along great with other dogs. Summer is a social butterfly, always eager to play, and she's really good at making friends with all kinds of dogs. Even with bossy dogs, she's super polite, and she never gets into fights with dogs who act tough. Summer absolutely loves splashing around in the water and will happily jump in for a swim just for fun. She's also a big fan of treats, so she's a quick learner when it comes to training. If you're into agility or other doggy sports, Summer could be a great partner. With her human family, Summer is a big lovebug, but it might take her a little time to get used to new people. All she needs is a bit of patience and affection, and she'll be your best buddy. Wet Noses Rescue's Adoption Policy

First, adopters must fill out our online application at wetnosesrescue.org. If approved, there is a phone interview and virtual home check. We are a shelter based in Punta de Mita, Mexico, and also operate in San Diego. We understand that it can be challenging to meet our animals in person due to the distance. However, we have a process in place to ensure a smooth adoption experience. Most of our animals are located at our shelter in Punta de Mita. We frequently arrange transportation for our animals up the West Coast of the USA (San Francisco, Seattle, etc.) and the Western Provinces of Canada (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, etc.). To help you get a better sense of the animals, we can offer additional photos, videos, and even schedule video calls. Please see our Google Reviews (https://goo.gl/maps/aDbyG4vW9YWNTs4d7) for some of our adoptive families' experiences. We are a volunteer run organization, and a flight angel would accompany them. This area is a touristy area, and many people like to volunteer in various ways to support the community, and especially support the neglected animals finding good homes. To secure flights, it generally takes us between 1-4 weeks once an animal is ready to go home.
