Summer is an approximately 1 year old Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle heart and a sweet soul. She came to WagsInn, along with her sisters May & June, after they were found in a field by another local rescue. <br/><br/>Like many dogs who haven't experienced much of the world, Summer is timid when faced with new people, places and experiences. But once she realizes she's safe, her personality begins to shine. She has already made wonderful progress with our team and now seeks out affection, enjoys gentle pets and is learning that people can be trusted. <br/><br/>Summer would thrive in a patient home that allows her to settle in at her own pace. A confident, friendly dog would be a huge bonus, helping show her that life isn't so scary.
