Summer #17's Story

Summer #17 is a 3-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever tipping the scales at 90 lbs of pure love. She’s a big, beautiful girl with a heart to match—and while she could stand to lose a few pounds, she’s already on the right track thanks to her active lifestyle. This happy lab loves to swim, go for walks, play with her toys, and chase a ball—fetch is definitely one of her specialties! She knows her basic commands and is eager to engage, especially when playtime is involved. Because of her size and enthusiasm, Summer would do best in a home with older kids (12 & up), teenagers, or adults. She does well with other dogs once she has time to warm up, so slow introductions are key to her success. Summer is looking for a family who will enjoy her playful energy, continue her training, and maybe join her for a swim or a game of fetch. In return, she’ll bring loyalty, fun, and 90 pounds of sweetness into your life.
