Sumac's Story

Hi, I am Sumac! I am almost 4 months old, just a puppy, with puppy energy. I love playing with my toys, other dogs and ice cubes. I like to run around in my backyard and get the zoomies. I also do the cutest wiggle when I get excited. I am crate trained, great with kids, and I even love cats! I guess you can say I am pretty perfect! Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
