My name is Sully H and I'm about 7-8 months old. People think I'm a border collie mix, with maybe a little husky. I recently came back into the rescue, and things have been pretty tough for me so far.<br/><br/>I'm looking for a family with patience, quiet time, and a family that will continue to send me to my happy place... Day care. I was born in a noisy shelter, and a lady took my mom, siblings, and me to her house until we came to Wisconsin. I was adopted when I was much younger to a family with young kids, and I loved them. Sadly my mom got sick with that "C" word, and life just got too hectic. <br/><br/>Lots of people were in and out of the house and I got so scared. I'm not used to new people and I was intimidated, so I barked at them so they'd leave me alone, and it worked!! I would love a house with other dogs to help with my confidence. Kids would be great too, but they should be dog savvy. I will need time and consistency to work through my stranger danger. I know to use the bathroom outside and my kennel is my safe zone. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$375+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$275+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements.
