Meet Sully!<br/>Sully is an adorable, super-sweet spayed female Chihuahua mix, about 4 years old, and a perfect little 9 pounds. She has a soft, loving personality and is especially fond of kids who know how to be gentle with small dogs. She would make a wonderful family companion and a loyal little sidekick.<br/><br/>Sully loves to follow her people around the house and is always ready for snuggles, pets, and cozy moments. She handles stairs and furniture with no trouble at all—though she will occasionally hop onto the coffee table (we’re politely working on that!). She doesn’t mind cats, gets along well with other dogs, and has shown impressive patience with the playful puppy in her foster home who loves to roughhouse.<br/><br/>She’s just beginning her housebreaking journey and will need a bit more guidance and consistency, but she’s eager to learn and wants to please. More than anything, Sully wants a warm lap and a loving home to call her own. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home. <br/><br/>Current Adoption Fees Are:<br/>$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old<br/>$375+tax for ages 4-7<br/>$275+tax for ages 8 and up<br/>Bonded pairs vary<br/><br/>The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs.
