Hi I'm Sully! I'm 2 years old as of end of October and a very good boy. I was surrendered by my owner who could no longer keep me. Way back in late 2023, my mama landed in the county shelter with me and my 5 siblings when we were just nursing babies. Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us in and provided the medical and general care we needed to get strong and healthy for our forever homes. I was adopted and had a nice home for a long time, but they could no longer keep me so I came back to the rescue. I'm house trained and have been good will all of the dogs and volunteers at the rescue. I appear to be a bulldog/bully mix. 1) Submit application 2) Application is reviewed for completeness and assigned to an adoption coordinator 3) Adoption coordinator verifies critical information on the application, contacts references and ensures that the requested animal is a good fit for the family 4) Adoption coordinator, in conjunction with rescue management, approves or denies application 5) Upon notification of approval, an adoption coordinator works with foster and adopter to set up an adoption appointment to bring your new family member home! We strive to work through adoption applications as soon as we can. We are 100% volunteer-based so it can take a day or two to complete the review. This also depends on the response time of your references. Should you change your mind or adopt a different animal after submission, please inform us so we do not spend unnecessary time on your application.
