Sully's Story
Meet Sully! Sully is an approximately 1–2-year-old, 10-pound Papillon mix with the biggest personality packed into a tiny body! His favorite activities include playing with his toys, chewing on his bones, playing fetch, and running zoomies in the backyard. When he’s not busy entertaining himself (and his humans!), he loves nothing more than curling up with his foster family for some affection. Personal space? Sully has never heard of it!

Sully is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he’s happy to settle into his crate as long as there’s a treat involved!

Once he feels comfortable, Sully’s silly, sweet, and incredibly affectionate personality really shines. He can be shy around new people and needs a little time to feel safe. We don’t know much about his early life, but it’s clear he’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.

For now, leash walks are still too overwhelming for Sully, so he’ll need a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can run, play, and feel safe. His ideal forever family will be patient and understanding, giving him the time and space he needs to build confidence at his own pace.

Every day, Sully reveals a little more of his goofy personality, and his antics are sure to keep you laughing! He may need some extra time to warm up, but once you’re part of his inner circle, you’ll be rewarded with endless entertainment, snuggles, and affection.

If you’re looking for a tiny sidekick with a huge personality and an even bigger heart—and you’re willing to give him the time, patience, and love he needs to thrive—Sully might just be your perfect match!

PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Click on "adopt" to find the drop down menu. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Dogs are in foster homes-meet and greets cannot be scheduled without an approved application.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.

We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment
