Sulley

Sulley is excited about his new life! He's a five year old black lab, weighing 55 pounds. Sulley likes to lay on the couch, play with squeaky toys and chew on nylabones. These behaviors show us that at one point, he lived a good life, but then things drastically changed. He found himself along with 23 other Labs, living outdoors year round in the elements. <br/><br/>Sulley is a Hero dog now, so his life has changed for the better. His days are now filled with love and attention and other dogs to play with. Sulley has learned how to be an indoor dog again. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with other dogs! Sulley has made huge progress in a short period of time! <br/><br/>Sulley will do best with a family that will give him the time, patience and love to adjust to his new life. An adopter that has experience with shy dogs would be beneficial for him. Sulley would like a fenced in backyard and a friendly confident canine companion to play with. No young children, please and we do not know what his experience with cats has been.<br/><br/>If Sulley, sounds like he could be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application. Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
