FOSTER CARE!<br/>Hi there! My name is Sugarplum and I'm a spayed, 11-month old pitbull that currently weighs about 48lbs. I start off on the shy side, but once I'm comfortable, I'm a sweet and rambunctious lovebug! My foster family says I'm the sweetest and I'm really coming into my own. My confidence has been growing every day. I need some time to warm up in new situations, but once I know I'm safe, my playful and affectionate personality shine. I love playing fetch in the backyard. I'm also very smart and eager to please. I know 'sit' and I happily go to my bed or crate when asked. I'm also quickly learning new commands. I have lived with children as young as 7 years old, so I might be a good fit with your family! Please be sure to bring in the entire household, including any resident dogs, to meet with me before I officially join the family. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!<br/>To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
