Hi, I'm Sugarcane! I'm a yellow lab mix, about 70 pounds of pure sunshine, and I'm three years young. My foster humans tell me I have the best smile, and I try my best to show it off to everyone I meet.<br/><br/>I have to tell you, there are these little humans running around in my foster home and I have come to love them because they give the best belly rubs! There are also two other dogs and we have become fast friends. We chase each other in the yard and snuggle up together when it’s naptime.<br/><br/>I love going on adventures! Car rides are the best; I stick my head out the window and let the wind ruffle my fur. Walks are awesome too, especially when I get to meet new people. Everyone always says I'm so friendly. I am! I just want to be friends with everyone. My favorite thing in the world is greeting my people. Seriously, even if you just pop into the kitchen for a cookie, when you come back, I'm there with a wagging tail, a big grin, and my favorite squeaky toy proudly displayed in my mouth. It's my way of saying, "I missed you! So, so much!"<br/><br/>I'm still learning some things because my humans say I need to work on my manners. I'm trying really hard to please, and they're so patient with me. They use gentle words and give me yummy treats when I do something right.<br/><br/>I’m hoping soon I’ll find my forever home. A place where I can share my sunshine, give endless tail wags, and maybe even teach my new family how to play fetch like a pro.
