Sugar Sug is a 1 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix , around 19 lbs. She is an incredibly sweet, gentle little girl with a calm, loving personality. She’s the type of pup who wants to be close to her people and melts right into you when she cuddles. She loves attention, enjoys being held, and settles quickly once she feels safe. Around the house, Sugar Sug is curious but well-mannered for her age. She does great with other dogs, and her temperament is very easygoing — she’s not overly hyper, and she reads the energy of the room really well. She’s playful in short bursts but her favorite place is right next to you. She’s eating well, adjusting wonderfully in foster care, and is already showing signs of being a very loyal, attached companion. Anyone looking for a loving, affectionate pup with a soft, gentle nature will absolutely fall for her. She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy

Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
