LOCATED IN MIAMI, FL contact Heather Glassman (954) 534-5606 Hi I’m Suede! It’s so very nice to meet you! I’m a pretty young thing, about a year old, cute and shmedium sized, just 41lbs. And my coat is a beautiful suede color, hence my name. My rescue mama found me roaming the streets of Miami, and it’s a good thing she did when she did, because I was in heat! I am now spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Here’s the thing, I lost my foster home for the sole reason of me being in heat. They didn’t want to deal with the blood. I think they have diapers for doggies though, so I don’t understand. Could you help me? I need a home ASAP!! My rescue mama is battling stage 4 cancer, but she just couldn’t leave me to fend for myself. I love her and I’m so grateful she saved me! I am the sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet! PLEASE GIVE ME A HOME - even if it’s just until I find my furever family. Don’t you think I deserve my happily furever after, after all?? Our goal is to make great matches that set both you and your new pup up for success. **1) Submit an application** Start by completing our adoption application. We review applications in the order received and will reach out with any follow-up questions. **2) Screening & conversation** We’ll contact you to discuss your lifestyle, home environment, pets, and what you’re looking for. This helps us confirm fit and recommend the best match. **3) Meet & greet** If approved, we schedule a meet-and-greet (and for current dogs, a dog-to-dog introduction when needed). Some meet-and-greets may be held at a foster home, boarding facility, or event. **4) Approval & adoption details** Once everyone is comfortable, we finalize the adoption. This includes a signed contract, adoption fee, and confirmation of pickup/transition details. **5) Go-home day + support** Your new family member goes home, and we remain available for guidance as your dog settles in. We love updates and “happy tails”! **Notes:** * We may require landlord approval if you rent. * Home checks may be requested for certain dogs/situations. * Adoption fees help cover vetting and lifesaving care.
