Sueanne's Story
Meet Sueanne!
A little gray pocket pittie with flip-floppy ears that seem permanently set to "adorable," and a camera-ready smile she absolutely knows how to work. Seriously, she loves having her picture taken and it shows.

Sueanne came to us back in August, and somehow no one ever came looking for her. Which is wild, because she’s cute, compact, and delightfully squatty. She’s almost 3 years old, heartworm negative, and fully past that chaotic puppy phase. Translation: she’s a grown lady who knows what she's about and she's more interested in a nap than your shoes and socks.

She can be a little shy at first, but once she knows you’re her person, she turns into a total sweetheart. When she first gets out, she’s playful and bouncy, then she settles right into chill mode like she’s clocking out for the evening. Tug-of-war makes the occasional guest appearance, and her pittie zoomies are elite. She does this hilarious hunker-down move and then blasts off like a tiny gray rocket.

One of her favorite animal care associates has been working with her on leash manners and basic commands, and Sueanne is making progress every day. She’s thoughtful, eager to learn, and trying her best. She is shy with new people at first but once she warms up you'll get the biggest smiles from her - she's worth the patience!

If you’re looking for a small, silly pittie who won’t take up much space but will happily take up your couch, your blankets, and your Netflix nights, Sueanne is your girl. She’s ready to trade shelter life for soft blankets, quiet evenings, and someone to adore her as much as we do!
