He began his puppyhood with a homeless man and all went fairly well for about a year, and then there was that terrible day when Stumpy was hit by a train. He was in so much pain and most people thought he would not make it, but our boy is a fighter, he wanted to live SO much and in the fight of his life, he won! In order to save his life, he did lose a front leg, but in the process of staying for his recovery at the vet's, he won everyone over with his sweet and friendly disposition. He likes people, other dogs, even cats. He is very gratefull to still be able to smell the wonderful scents of the earth around him and feel gentle hands pet him, letting him know he is 'such a good boy!' He walks very well these days and wants to go on walks with YOU! He runs and plays like the young dog he is at only 2 years old. His future is bright. He is one very special tripod.The only empty part of his life now is a person or family to love him. He is ready, healthy, had all his shots and a complete vetting. All cleared for a beautiful life. We know there is a lucky person out there who will receive the gift of Stumpy's whole heart.
