Stuey's Story

Meet Stuey, a 7 yr old fully vetted Corgi/Border Collie mix male on the hunt for his forever person/family. He weighs about 40 lbs and is working on losing 10 -15 lbs. He is very affectionate, super smart, friendly, perfectly happy to snuggle up for lovies, and has a medium energy level. He loves going for walks, rides, all the toys, and playing fetch/catch. He does well with other older, gentle/friendly dogs but would be fine as an only dog too. Cats unknown. A home with children over 10 or adults only would be ideal. Prefers the ladies, but gentle, patient guys are A okay too. He knows basic commands, is very food motivated and learns quickly. He is crate/pen, leash, and potty trained. He should excel at most dog sports like agility, frisby, etc. as he is very focused, and loves to please. He is suited best to a single family home with a fenced yard, no apartments. Most dogs are fostered in Texas until matches are made. Transport is scheduled and paid for by Big Dog Rescue Project to Washington, Oregon, and New Jersey. Let us help you find your next Big Dog! There are always new dogs coming to our attention, so please feel free to contact us if you do not see your perfect match here today. Because we do not have a kennel facility all dogs are either fostered, or spend time in a doggie daycare facility in Plano TX interacting with our volunteers before making their way to Washington State.
