Meet Stubz!<br/><br/>AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION<br/><br/>Stubz is a 40 pound male Shepherd mix born around March 16, 2026. He is living in a foster home in Massachusetts.<br/><br/>PERSONALITY: Stubz is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being close to his people. He enjoys cuddling and will gently paw at your arm when he would like more belly rubs. He can be cautious around unfamiliar people and situations, but with a calm approach and a little time, his playful personality begins to shine.<br/><br/>FAVORITE THINGS: Running, hiking, exploring the woods, digging, playing outside, spending time with other dogs, cuddling, and belly rubs.<br/><br/>AT HOME: Stubz is crate trained and settles after a few minutes. He is making progress with house training and can go several days without an accident when kept on a consistent potty schedule.<br/><br/>OTHER DOGS: Stubz enjoys other dogs and loves having a playmate. His play can be enthusiastic, so he may be happiest with a dog that appreciates an active play style. He is still learning when another dog is ready for a break and responds well when his people step in to redirect him. Toys should be managed when he is sharing space with another dog.<br/><br/>PEOPLE AND CHILDREN: Stubz may initially hang back when meeting someone new, but he becomes comfortable with patience, treats, and a calm introduction. He has done well with middle school and high school aged children. His experience with younger children is limited.<br/><br/>CATS: Unknown.<br/><br/>TRAINING: Stubz may become mouthy when excited, but he is easily redirected and continues to improve. He will benefit from continued training, consistency, and positive experiences that help him feel more confident.<br/><br/>BEST FIT: Stubz would be a great match for an active, patient family that will give him time to adjust and continue helping him learn. Another compatible dog and a fenced yard could be nice additions, but neither is required.<br/><br/>Stubz is a loving, cuddly young dog with plenty of personality.
