Stubbie's Story

I've been ADOPTED! AROOOOOO! Stubbie Stubbie is an incredibly sweet, mellow beagle boy, around 4 years old. His owner passed away and Stubbie was on his way to the pound when a nice neighbor intervened and called us at SoAZBR. At around 43 pounds, Stubbie is a big-boned fella. But he's a gentle and well-mannered boy that just loves to shower his people with doggie kisses. He loves nothing more than rolling over in your lap for belly scritches. He is wonderful with kids and with other dogs. He is being fostered in a home with a toddler and three other dogs and he's doing great. He's loving and sweet with the baby, and a perfect gentlemen with the other dogs. Stubbie knows a few commands like 'sit' and 'leave it,' but he could use some basic obedience training to help him learn more commands. He's also learning the doggie door. Stubbie is an absolutely terrific dog that is just waiting for his forever family. This dog wants nothing more than to please his humans and love them. Give this little fella a loving, kind home and he will repay you with a lifetime of unconditional love and affection. Please give Stubbie a second chance!
