Happy Fall, Y'all! My name is Stryker and I'm the most handsome 2yr old male German Shepherd you'll ever meet. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.

Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home:

1. I was purchased from an expensive breeder when I was just a puppy. After having me my entire life, my previous home decided they no longer wanted me. I did nothing to deserve being removed from my family but thankfully IDGSR welcomed me with open arms.

2. I am truly the most wonderful boy! I am sweet, loving, friendly, very obedient, and great with other large female dogs.

3. I am fully trained in obedience, I walk wonderfully on a leash, and would love to be in an active home! I'm use to going on 2-3 mile walks a day, I'd love for my new hooman to take me on daily walks.

4. I know multiple commands; like Come, Down, Leave It, Shake, Sit, Stay, and Walk on Leash. My previous home even taught me how to walk slowly on a leash, like slow motion walk.

5. I am house & crate trained, even tho I don't actually need to be in a crate.

6. I love to play with toys, especially my squeaky Lamb. I will bring it to you to throw for me, I drop it easily too!

7. I am truly a dream dog! I want to find a person or family who will love me unconditionally and keep me for my entire life! If you are looking for a friendly, affectionate, incredibly smart, and overall wonderful new companion - I'm your guy!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
