Just a sweet boy trying to figure out this big world. Stripe has the cutest personality. He might hang back at first, but give him a little time and you’ll see him scoot closer, leaning in for pets and soaking up every bit of love once he feels safe.<br/><br/>Stripe and his littermates missed out on early socialization, so everything has been brand new for him. At first, it was all pretty scary — but he’s starting to learn to trust and realize that not everything is so big and overwhelming. It’s truly special watching him come out of his shell.<br/><br/>He loves playing in the yard with his littermates, where his fun, puppy side really shines. Stripe would do best with a friendly, confident dog in his new home to help show him the ropes and keep building that confidence.<br/><br/>All he’s really looking for is a forever family who will give him love, patience, and the time he needs to blossom into the incredible dog he’s meant to be.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
