Stormy Leigh

Stormy Leigh is a 10 month old Standard Australian Shepherd. Stormy Leigh is a happy and busy young Aussie. She loves her doggy playmate and will need an active playmate of similar size age and energy. She’s done great with crate training and house training. Stormy really wants to please but it’s clear she’s had little structure previously. She spent two months in a shelter after her owners surrendered her. She’s going to need a family who is prepared for a busy young Aussie who is going to need lots of basic training as well being active and having a job. She would do great with some type of dog sport. She is very agile and loves to run and hops like a deer. So dock diving might be something she would excel at as well as agility. She’s just so happy to play. <br/>Due to her very busy active behavior she will probably be too much for small children but should be fine for older children and teens. Stormy would not do well in an apartment or condo as she can be very vocal when she wants your attention. A fenced yard will be important for her so she can burn energy. <br/>Stormy Leigh is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative and on preventatives.
