Stormy's Story

Ms. Stormy has been with us for almost a year now- but nothing has dampened this black diamond's spirit. We fear that Ms. Stormy is overlooked because of "black dog syndrome" a phenomenon that is quiet common in shelters. People aren't able to see the sweetness of her features because of her shiny black coat - Ms. Stormy is just as special as any other pup with different colors and despite the fact we are in the year 2025 - people are still apprehensive and superstitious about animals with black coats. Ms. Stormy is someone that will love without apprehension- that wants every stranger to be her friend. She does well with a harness more so than a leash and loves to point things out before you see them. A squirrel about ten feet away? She's there! Stormy is close to our hearts because no matter what - she always has a smile! She loves the outdoors and makes sure she uses the potty away from her food and makes it count when she's outdoors.
