Stormy's Story

Storm (male) and Rainey (female) were rescued out of a storm drain during a storm. Mom ran off but the pups stayed still, shivering. The rescuer took them in for the night and tried to find owners, but no one came forward. They were covered in fleas, hungry and tired, but other than that seemed in good health. <br/>Both pups are very affectionate and love attention. They are playful, curious, food motivated little toots. Though Storm is a bit more introverted that Rainey, both pups love giving kisses and snuggling. We are accepting applications on them so if interested please email us. 6/4/2026 Rainey has been adopted.

Heart of Texas SPCA's Adoption Policy

An application is required to be filled out for any of our pets up for adoption. There is also an adoption fee that applies. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery and a micro-chip. Pets cannot leave our facility without being spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. Visits are by appointment and will not be set up without an approved application. You must email a request for an application if interested in one of our dogs as we do not have one online. We do not offer public walk-through access.
