Stormy's Story

Stormy (male) and Rainey (female) were rescued out of a storm drain during a storm. Mom ran off but the pups stayed still, shivering. The rescuer took them in for the night and tried to find owners, but no one came forward. They were covered in fleas, hungry and tired, but other than that seemed in good health. Stormy is very playful, curious, loves other dogs and his snuggle time too. He loves toys, is food motivated and listens well. 6/4/2026 Rainey has been adopted.<br/>If interested in meeting Stormy please email us.

Heart of Texas SPCA's Adoption Policy
An application is required to be filled out for any of our pets up for adoption. There is also an adoption fee that applies. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery and a micro-chip. Pets cannot leave our facility without being spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. Visits are by appointment and will not be set up without an approved application. You must email a request for an application if interested in one of our dogs as we do not have one online. We do not offer public walk-through access.
