Her name may be Stormi but she's a ball of sunshine!<br/><br/>Stormi is a 5 year old, mid sized girl whose puppy days are far behind her and this young a heart, mid aged lady is as well rounded and social as they come.<br/><br/>Stormi is the perfect mix between friendly, playful and energetic and happy to lounge around and nap.<br/><br/>Stormi is a sweet girl who is excited when she's outside exploring the world and making doggy friends but in the home she prefers physical closeness and cuddles or playing with her enrichment toys. time.<br/><br/> <br/><br/><br/> Training: Stormi knows basic commands like “sit”, “come”, and “stay” but also has some tricks up her sleeve – after every walk, Stormi knows that “paw” means she provides each paw to be cleaned upon entering the house, and she can easily be trained to learn much more. <br/> Leash Manners + Social Interactions: Stormi walks easily on the leash and is eager to greet other dogs which is corrected easily - she 100% aims to please. <br/> <br/> Stormi is non-responsive to other reactive dogs on leash - we love a confident queen.<br/> Stormi is also unbothered by running kids, moving vehicles or the busy streets of NYC.<br/> <br/> <br/> Fun Facts: Stormi absolutely loves the sun and heat and will find any slice of sun to sunbathe in wether it be on the couch or the floor. She has also never turned down a spot by the fireplace, heater or an electric blanket.<br/> <br/> Stormi is perfectly content to nap, lounge, sit by your feet, and coexist with you.<br/> Stormi learns routines and rules quickly and she has the ability to adapt to the world around her.<br/> <br/> <br/> Growth Areas: Although Stormi is not obsessed with her crate like some dogs, she is perfectly happy to sleep in her crate overnight or for extended periods of time while you are away. Stormi likes being offered enrichment such a as lick mat or long lasting chew to help her pass the time. Stormi is also able to self soothe and re-regulate when she becomes overhwhelmed in the crate and we are so proud to see her crate becoming her safe place. <br/> House Training: Stormi is housetrained and communicates very clearly when she needs to go outside. Stormi's potty breaks are relatively quick, and she will let you know when it's time to pack up shop and go home.<br/> More areas of GLOW: Stormi has clearly lived in a home before being abandoned as she is accustomed to normal home habits such as blow dryers, vacuums, the shower/toilet, cooking noises, etc.<br/> <br/> Stormi can be an independent queen and does not always feel the need to follow you around - especially if food is not involved.<br/> <br/> <br/><br/><br/>Stormi is a perfect candidate for adoption into any home and is as turnkey ready as rescue dogs come!
