Stitch's Story

Sweet little guy Stitch was originally confiscated by animal control in a rural town. When his owner didn't come to claim him, his wellbeing started to deteriorate in the high-stress environment of the shelter. We brought him into rescue because he was making himself bleed trying to get out of the shelter.

He is a very sweet, older boy, estimated to be around 4. He prefers to be your shadow, and asks that you let him ride shotgun as frequently as possible. He is doggy door trained, and has learned to somewhat tolerate being kenneled, but he would much prefer staying out of one. He loves treats. He loves men. He's been around dogs and kids. He does well with SOME cats, but not all cats, so we would prefer he go to a home with no cats.
