Stewart's Story

Hi I'm Stewart (or Stewie as my foster mom affectionately calls me).

I'm approx 5 months old and currently weigh around 14 lbs. A DNA test was performed on me and my main breed is Chihuahua (30%) followed by Pekingese (17%) Pomeranian (14%) , Poodle (13%) and a sprinkling of terrier with a little mystery sauce thrown in. I'm a crazy mix of breeds but cute as a button. I have gorgeous eyes and cool brown spots. Because of my primary breeds it is assumed I will stay on the smaller side like 25 lbs or less but no guarantees there.
I was pulled from a shelter in Modesto by the good folks at Hair of the Dog Rescue. I was surrendered by my owner to the shelter along with all my siblings. Who would surrender the greatest puppy ever?! The nerve! But if it means I get to be adopted by people who actually love and appreciate me, I'll take it!
I'm a normal happy puppy. I love people, kids, other dogs, my foster mom, playing, running around the yard, eating, toys and everything in between. I don't have a mean bone in my body. I'm very loving and happy guy. I need all the usual puppy training but I'm super smart and eager to learn. I'd make a wonderful family pet.
So what do you say? Would you like to give me a home for the holidays? If so, please fill out the application on the link below and a volunteer will get back to you shortly! Hope to meet you soon!
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HOTD/Dog
