Hi, I'm Stevie! I came to WAAL dirty and matted but still willing to show love. I'm a bit shy when I meet new people but give me a little time and I'll be your best friend. I love being a cuddly lap dog and will sometimes be a bit protective as I don’t want to give up that soft lap! I'm not too sure about cats and prefer the company of female dogs. I have an old hip injury, but it currently isn't giving me any problems. I dream of a home where I can snuggle up and share all the love I have. Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes. No declawing. Fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adoptions to get matched with an animal and schedule a meeting.
