As a result of what was done to him, STEVIE is blind.<br/><br/>And yet… STEVIE’s spirit is nothing short of amazing!<br/><br/>STEVIE healed, gained weight, and blossomed into an affectionate, joyful dog who absolutely loves people. He enjoys saying hello to other friendly dogs, too — but calm, trusted adults are his favorite comfort. STEVIE adapts quickly to familiar surroundings and does best with structure, routine, and an attentive handler who helps him feel confident as he navigates the world.<br/><br/>STEVIE walks very well on leash, enjoys lounging in the yard and loves being close to his people. When he gets excited to greet you, he can occasionally get a little mouthy and may nip at your leg in the moment — not out of meanness, but from enthusiasm and not being able to see.
