Steve's Story

As you can see from his photos, “graceful” is not a word we would use to describe Steve. “Enthusiastic” is a much better word.

Steve is what we like to call a “big dumb dog”. Is Steve actually dumb? No. But he gives the essence of dumb. Probably not the brightest and certainly isn’t going to be an award winning genius any time soon, but he has that *vibe* that makes you think his intelligence is not his best quality. So what makes a big dumb dog? Happiness. Goofiness. The ability to make you laugh without trying. Just a total good boy. Steve loves to play, is great with other dogs, enjoys a good splash of water. Wouldn’t hurt a fly, unless it was just from knocking them over. Steve is a great dog who just needs some basic manners and he will be set to bring you the companionship and joy we all look for in a dog.

We aren’t sure of his breed, but sort of get a shepherd/husky/??? Type feeling from him. Hes about 50lbs and 6-8 months old. Hes been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is current on flea/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $350.

To make Steve your big dumb dog, apply today at farfetcheddogrescue.org

All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. All medical concerns are addressed prior to adoption including emergency care needed, chronic health conditions, dental care, and various other concerns. Adoption Fees All Adoption fees vary based on the individual animal. Adoption Process The adoption process begins with an application. After the application has been reviewed and references checked, A Home check video will be requested. This video will need to include interior and exterior views of the home and yard if applicable. Once the home check has been submitted and approved, we are able to schedule a meet and greet with the adoptable animal. If both parties agree to proceed with adoption, your new family member will go home with you! Please note, we may request a few days after the meet and greet to make a decision for the animals placement, however, most adoptions will take place the day of the meet and greet.
