Stetson's Story

Stetson is a super fun, young pom. He loves to play with toys and with other dogs, both big and small! He also loves to go out on adventures and sits in a sling happily taking in all the sounds and smells. He enjoys food and treats and eats like a champ.

Stetson sleeps through the night in a dog bed by your bedside. His love of toys and chews means he can (and will!) entertain himself, but he'll never turn down a cuddle for naptime. He loves to show his happiness with kisses. He can get mouthy when playing or when putting on a harness, but he's easily redirected with toys and/or treats.

He appears to be mostly blind but we think can see lights and movement. He will walk into things when he doesn't know his environment, but he bounces right back and learns quickly how to get around. Given his sight impairment, a home without young children would probably be best. Potty training is a work in progress and will require him to be familiar with his environment so he learns the difference between inside and outside. He will bark when he hears unfamiliar sounds (or other dogs barking - he has FOMO) but it lessens as he gets used to his environment.

Stetson would do great with another dog in the house to guide him around, but also would be fine soaking up all the attention as an only dog. Adopt Stetson if you want all the joys and training that come with a young, happy, loving dog!
