Are you looking for a dog to be a true bestie? Sterling is your boy! Sterling (aka Indie) came into the rescue as literal skin and bones, weighting just over 30lbs. In the month he has been in his foster home he has gained over 10 pounds, and learned what it's like to be in a loving home! You would never know he was mistreated in a previous life.<br/><br/>About Indie: <br/> He is so silly, he keeps the kids in his foster home entertained with his awkwardly long legs, silly faces, and somersaults(!). Families with really tiny humans should be mindful of his friendly paws; he sure is not aware of his size (his preferred seat is your lap). <br/><br/> Indie may or may not have been overly playful with the resident cat of his first foster home. He is pleading the fifth and there are no witnesses (the victim was unharmed), but for now our preference would be a home that does not involve cats.<br/> <br/>Indie's perfect home has an active companion who will keep up his walks and keep him stimulated and busy. He also loves a snooze, so a comfy couch (or lap, let's be honest) is a must. <br/><br/> Indie is not a fan of the crate -- his preference is for the least amount of separation between him and his people! <br/>Whoever is lucky enough to have Indie join their family will be rewarded with the most sweet, loyal and loving new family member. <br/><br/>All About Animals Rescue and Transport is a 501c3 registered nonprofit based in Conway, South Carolina. We rescue dogs from euthanasia lists and overcrowded shelters, as well as take in strays, surrenders, litters of puppies and nursing moms, and the cases that get so often overlooked. We are a foster based rescue, so all of our dogs are in foster homes in the Myrtle Beach area. When you apply for one of our dogs, if approved, you will be contacted by the foster for a meet and greet. We also hold adoption events to meet more of our pups at once!<br/>All adoptions begin with an application :https://linktr.ee/aaart1082<br/>Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccines, microchip, deworming, and spay/neuter (scheduled if too young.).<br/>While we do adopt out of state, all of our dogs are in foster homes in the Myrtle Beach area.
