He loves lying on the couch after your long day at work. He is the perfect mix of cuddly and playful! He's happy to lounge around but is thrilled to go on a walk at any given time (unless it's cold, snowing, or raining, or storming.) He's more of a sunshine walker. He's sure to clean up the kitchen floor whenever you drop something which can be pretty convenient!

Sterling has learned how to sit, spin, stay, and down. He also sometimes acts like he knows how to shake but we don't have that one 100% down yet. He walks generally well on a leash however he can get excited when he sees other dogs, a couple of treats typically get his attention back to you! Sterling does well with our other resident foster dog and they can often be found wrestling or playing tug of war!

Sterling does have separation anxiety, this can cause him to bark for a bit when he is alone. He has no problem going into his crate for the price of a small treat. He will need a heavy duty kennel as he can get out of a wire one. Please do not let this stop you from adopting him, with exercise and consistent training he has been making BEAUTIFUL progress.

Sterling is just looking for a loving, dedicated family to help him feel like he truly belongs.

Sterling

2 years old

Neutered maleTo complete an adoption application, click here: /forms/form?formid=5879
