Sterling's Story
Sweet Sterling boy is ready to find his forever home!
Sterling is nearing 1 year old and around 60lbs. He loves playing with other dogs and is in a foster home with several other dogs and cats. He is shy and hasn't been socialized with people very much. He went to our Easter event for photos and see how he would do. He did much better than expected! You could tell he was uncomfortable, so we took things slow and let him decompress. He was nervous of meeting the other big dogs in public, but then he saw Dinah the puppy and he fell in love! He was all wiggles and tail wags making friends with her. He also went up to several of us and put his head in our laps, asking for pets, comfort, or maybe help to get back home. Poor guy was out of his element, but he did great.

He was roaming with many other family members for months. His mom Mia and him happened to cross the road in front of Kathy one day, so she took them home. They have been fixed and fully vetted. Now it's time to find them the perfect forever! He would love a home that would let himself sleep on the couch, but would also take him out for some much needed Exercise. He would like a fenced yard so that he can potty and play off leash.

He would do best in a home with another dog. Another dog can give him more confidence and show him that humans are good, but individual training will also do him good.

If interested please fill out an application on our website fofanimalrescue.org Then email to katw7788@gmail.com

He is currently near Higginsville junction Mo.

Fostering is Free.
His adoption fee is $100
He is Neutered, shots, microchipped.
