Sterling (26-128 D)'s Story

Say hello to Sterling, AKA Molly.

This cutie pie is 4 months old and is all puppy! She is excited, energetic, and loves to play. She would do best with another large breed dog that will establish boundaries with her and teach her acceptable doggie play. She was in a previous home with a large breed dog that was a little too passive and allowed her to be a bit too bossy. Her current foster home has corrected her and she has responded very well to that and is doing great with toning down her play style accordingly. Sterling may not be the best with young children as she is at that puppy pirhana phase and wants to nibble on everything in sight (including hands!) and needs a firm handler to help correct that behavior.

As with any puppy, adopter should expect to work on training, establishing healthy boundaries, and basic obedience. She is potty trained and mostly crate trained. At night, she needs to get her feelings out for ~5 minutes before she settles down and goes to sleep. She is also crated while her foster parent is at work and does fine in the crate during the day.

Sterling was born in rescue and while she is now 4 months old, her baby pictures are included for fun! She has really grown into her ears and is ready for a new adopter that is ready to invest the time in her that she deserves.
